Massey Law is a Toronto-based firm specializing in a wide range of practice areas, including business and employment law. They wanted a visual identity that reflected their trusted reputation, approachable nature, and broad expertise. I designed a clean and modern wordmark featuring crisp typography, bold colours, and urban imagery, balancing professionalism with accessibility.

1 — Challenge

With a recent name change, the firm needed a cohesive brand story that resonated with its team and communicated its values to clients. The identity needed to convey credibility, approachability, and adaptability across a range of applications.

I conducted a workshop where we explored keywords and themes that captured the firm’s personality and vision. This exploration shaped the brand’s story and distilled its essence into three core qualities: trusted reputation, approachable nature, and broad expertise.

The new visual identity is simple, featuring clean typography and a contemporary colour palette that conveys boldness and confidence. At the same time, the urban imagery reflected the firm's Toronto roots and the graphic elements added structure and flexibility to the brand system.

I created a full suite of materials, including business cards, letterheads, email signatures, PowerPoint templates, marketing graphics, office displays, and website design.
